Vintage 1970s Louis Vuitton Monogrammed Doctors Bag
An exquisite vintage doctor style bag from Louis Vuitton. An exceptionally generous donation, this particular piece features the iconic Louis Vuitton monogram, first created in 1896 and now a signature symbol of the House. Featuring rounded leather handles, a removable cross body strap, with an engraved clasp and opening into a deep warm tone expresso shaded suede lining with a small zippered interior pocket. The sharp structure of the bag is reinforced by the clasp, which gives a satisfying clap when closed, reassuring you that everything will remain safely ensconced within. A remarkable piece of craftsmanship, carefully made in France, it includes LV marked hardware and is truly beautifully made. It is in vintage condition and does have overall wear including around the handle, strap, corners of the bag and lining but more noticeably on the hardware surfaces which do have scratches and wear. Despite this it has held up magnificently and with care will last a lifetime and would be wonderful investment piece.
