Vintage Black Velvet Trim Black Dress & Cropped Jacket - AU4/6

An utterly divine vintage set. This consists of a tiny dress with flared pleated skirt which we, a structured bust that moves into a sheer fabric shoulder. The jacket is of the same matching black fabric, with the most incredible, lush velvet trim - so soft to touch and a deep true black. The velvet trims the collar forms bows at the lapel and along with the cuff of the sleeves. 

Being vintage this item does have a lot of wear, and would be a project to fix - the zipper has torn away from the fabric, there is a tear in the velvet lining of the jacket and damage to the sheer fabric of the dress, along with marks. We still believe this dress is a work of art and wonderful piece for a collector of fashion, especially with passion for early Melbourne brands. 

• 6/10 condition - there is plenty of wear and tear to this item, and it would need to undergo some repair work to store it to wearable condition again;
• this is very small dress - AU4/6 - please check measurements.

• waist - 39cm.

Dress:

• bust - 38cm
• waist - 32cm
• hips - 58cm
• length - 103cm. 

This wouldn't enclose on our AU8 mannequin, so it is truly a very small size, and given the delicate nature of the garment we didn't want to pull around much.
