A beautiful copy of A Village in the Valley by celebrated English author, Beverly Nichols. This book has been clearly loved by someone who has covered its dust jacket so to prevent further aging - this book being from 1934, does have wear and colour to the pages. It is signed to a Jean Muir-Grant on the occasion of their 21st birthday, and signed off by 'Beverley'. We are unsure as to whether this is just a coincidence, or the author's in proper signature.
