  • Condition 8/10. Great vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Glaze shows crazing which is to be expected and the inside have residue from being used as a flower vase so requires a good clean.
  • Measures 18cm tall.
  • Stamped Crown Ducal and X-3

Crown Ducal was founded in 1915 by Albert G. Richardson at the Gordon Pottery in Tunstall, England. The business was successful and in 1934, the Britannia Pottery at Cobridge, was acquired. Crown Ducal is best known for its association with Charlotte Rhead in the 1930s and 40s, as well as for its tableware, which featured notable patterns such as Orange Tree. Rhead certainly produced some of Crown Ducal's most memorable Art Deco-inspired designs, establishing a creative legacy that is still strong today.
