From the golden era of novelty ceramics this Japanese made cookie jar is a cylindrical cast of a tree trunk and decorated with flowers, leaves and twigs but most importantly with an adorable wide-eyed fawn with a perfect pair of cherries in its mouth. This cutie is a perfect addition to any kitsch kitchen or home.
- Condition 8/10. Great vintage condition. No chips or cracks but signs of age especially on the inside of the piece. The cherries have lost most of their red glaze. Crazing present to the glaze as to be expected.
